CPC general question

I recently changed the content to gear my site towards a certain keyword. I just received a click for that keyword that only cost me 5 cents. My CTR for the keyword is only about 1.00% and my position is about 6.5, is it because of my high relevance for the keyword (high quality score I assume)that the CPC was so low?

Please be more specific. I assume it's for Search (not Content Network); Is it a broad, phrase or exact match? How big is your maxCPC?

It is broad, my cpc is set to $2 max. I was looking, a few days ago I recieved a 5 cent click for this term and then yesterday the same thing. I am not using the content network, just google search.

For broadmatch, you don't know exactly for what specific query you received the click, and also on what exact position you were displayed for that query.
