How to revive the "google slapped" domain?

I got a few domains with minimum bid of $10.00, and the Quality Score never changes from there no matter what I make the changes on the domain. What else option do I have?

Have you paid the $10.00 minimum bid for a while? It might need some track-record before they put it down.

To start with, if you feel your keyword is highly relevant to your ad text which in turn is highly relevant to your landing page, then use adwords editor to split the slapped adgroups into smaller groups of 5-10 (max) keywords and write some new ads based on your new, smaller adgroups. Upload the changes and go back and see if your QS has improved on the new adgroups you created. If not, don't sweat it, wait for a couple days and check it again to see if it's improved from the initial bids and QS.

Most people find that if they are reasonably relevant (come on, be honest now), between their keyword/adtext/landing page, splitting things up, writing new ads and reloading should help.

Good Luck!

Once you are hit...you stay hit for a long long time..

Say goodbye to adWords or change your doman..change the site structure and try to bring in more relevancy ( as defined by google).

So in short..change the domain and start making changes which may or may not work during next QS update. The algo keeps changing every few moths. so this is now a game of uncertainity.

Three of my domains seem to escape the QS hit every time.. but two of them keep getting hit every few months. Haven't figured out yet why.. as the sites are all very similar..
