Does anyone have any evidence...or an educated hunch :)...that running an adsense block on an adwords landing page will lower the quality score?

My educated hunch would be "no", although I did observe a year or two ago that having adsense on your site the first time it is organically crawled was a bad idea.

The people who are getting in trouble for adsense arbitrage are having their adsense accounts terminated, not their adwords accounts.

Actually, I think this past summer some AdWords advertisers were told that their business profiles weren't a good match, or words to that effect, and asked to leave.

However, I can state unequivocally that I run AdSense a bunch of personal sites, and I use AdWords to drive traffic to my most prominent site, and the quality scores on 928 out of 930 keywords have been 'great' for over six months now.
