Tracking ROI using dynamic variables

I have a Confirmation page where I want to track the value of a sale using a dynamic variable.

Can Adwords conversion tracking track this? I don't want to just show the number of conversions against cost because the value of each conversion differs. Essentially, I want to monitor ROI.

Can this be done?

Thanks,

Jon

Have you tried Google Analytics? Tracking ROI is pretty easily done there.

So are you suggesting I should just bin the advanced conversion tracking on adwords and just use Analytics? I read about roi tracking in the adwords advanced conversion tracking setup guide but it seems vague on how to actually view roi.

Analytics gives me a lot more information, and I found it easy to set up and get working with several types of shopping cart. Never tried to do it with AdWords Conversion code, to be honest.
