How do you log your results and changes with Adwords?

I was wonder what everyone does to log progress of their campaigns or keywords in AdWords? And, I would like to see just how many other people are having the same problem as I..

Okay, so here is my problem. I have many keywords setup in a few campaigns and I'm constantly trying to improve them. Each time I make a change I would like to have some way of logging the change and be able to comment on the progress if any. So that six months later or whenever i come back to that keyword i can look up what I've done in the past and can move forward instead of repeating a costly mistake..

Anyone know if this is possible in AdWords already? Or are there any programs that will do this? How do you log your progress?

Click onto "Tools" and then onto "My Change History".

This will give you dry log of what you did within last 3 months. You can download it and keep for your record (and edit as well).

If you use the AdWords Editor, you can make notes and comments every step along the way. However, if you upgrade at any point, the comments don't necessarily get updated, and (unfortunately) as far as I know, there's no good way to pass comments to someone else short of exporting and importing back in (in which case you overwrite your own comments), and if two people are working on one account, that's something of a problem. But it's still better than nothing.
