Will it ever leave the drawing board?

AWA / anyone

Is there any chance of CPC Site Targeting going live? Does anyone have any updates?

Impressions are almost non-existent after switching to CPC from CPM.

They have screwed up the implementation of this

Not really. Have you tried anything on a CPA beta? same problem.

The truth is that just as Google's algo rewards better adverts and reinforces high CTR ads, Google's algo rewards the most income for Google. CPC is more advanced reporting than CPM for the advertiser, so you assume it will be more profotable for you. That eans it will be less profitable for Google (on average) unless you put the CPC up to a potentially unprofotable level.

G allows a few larger, older accounts to use features in test mode long before rolling them out to everyone. Hence I've been using cpc site targeting for about 5 months.

I've also tried Adwords audio ads. They have a network of radio stations where you bid on ad space.

And then they have newspaper ads too. I haven't tried those yet. Too much on my plate already but they do sound interesting.
