Hi all.
I have tried for several days now to login to Google Adwords.
I can access any page on the net.
No problems clicking on any links except Google.
Just Google.
At first I kept getting a page that said "start here" to open a new account.
I never got the login part with the password.
I tried logging into Gmail the first couple of days and now I cannot access any/none of Googles page.

I first thought I was banned, because the page would never finish loading.
I am new there.
I talked with the chat help and she saw there was no problem with my account.
I called Google today and spoke with someone who says there is no problem what-so-ever with my account.
All the people I spoke with told me to clear the cache and check firewalls, virus software, ect.
I have done everything and still cannot login to Google.
I did the Tools, internet options, privacy, sites, added www.adwords.google.com, allow, and ok.
Cleared every temp file. History cleared.
You name it.
It was cleared out.
Cookies cleared.
I talked with the DSL people no one can see where the problem is. Google told me there may be a misconfiguring on my computer.
So far nothing has been found that is out of order.
I tried Foxfire browser, Internet explorer browser, and still get the same results.
Am I the only one having this problem with Google?
What should I do?
I need to get into my account.
Please any ideas will be helpful.
Thanks for any help.

Have you tried a different computer?

Hi.
Yes, I just had a friend try to login on a computer in another city and there was no problem logging in.

I just spoke with the DSL people . The guy did everything he could and it might be a virus hiding some where so we will have to take the computer to a tech guy for scrutiny.
I just cannot imagine what else to do.
Unless some one else has an idea. then thats what I will do.
Thanks so much for your help.
It is appreciated.

Look at the contents of this file:

c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts

I have used every available spyware program to delete all viruses.
I set up the "hosts" page Meg suggested. Thanks Meg a whole lot.
I cleared all the "C" drive, cleared everything. and still cannot get into my Google.Adwords account, Gmail account or Adsense.

I can search on Google.com but cannot get any "login" pages to load. I click the link, and I have seen it still trying to load an hour later.

There are people telling me Google is not the only game in town. I guess I will just have to close my Adwords account from a library. I cannot run an account running to the library. I had hoped that someone may have had an answer. Nothing has worked and I have emailed Google continuously but to no avail.
There is life with No Google.

Thanks to everyone for your help and encouragement.

A few days ago I could not log in to any Google site - Google.com, Gmail, AdWords, AdSense or Yahoo mail.

I posted in the AdSense forum but got no flood of responses so I assumed the problem was on my end.

The problem eventually cleared up and I now assume that it was our ISP.

Our (almost) dictatorial government recently took over the national phone company so I have a suspicion they are adding filters in front of the major e-mail providers to feed their paranoia. It would explain why we could not enter either Google or Yahoo mail while they worked out the bugs in their filters.
