Adword Campaign Approval Slow

Taking days to approve new campaigns

I have been advertising on Adwords for the past 2 years and all has been going well. But, for the past 3 weeks, things have gone from good to bad to horrible. In the last 1 month, I have created numerous new campaigns but it is taking over 4 days to approve these campaigns. Most of the time, I have to contact the Adwords Support Team and ask them to approve the campaigns. Each time, they give me a standard response and approve the campaigns.

All the campaigns are standard campaigns and don't contain any objectionable content. In fact, over the last 1 month, not one campaign has been disapproved.

Now, my business relies on continuously creating new campaigns and editing them depending on the number of impressions and the CTR they are getting. But frankly, this is getting ridiculous. How does Google expect me to run a a successful business with Adwords when they are taking over 4 days to approve a simple campaign?

I am feeling quite frustrated and my business is suffering. Is there anything I can do to speed up the process.

Also, be aware that when you submit an ad can make a difference in turn-around time. Some things to keep in mind:

* Ads are approved on a more limited basis over the weekend.

* For this reason, submitting new or edited ads on Friday (and especially late Friday) can slow down approval.

* Monday also tends to be a peak day.

* For these reasons, it's probably best to submit new or edited ads mid-week - if you have the 'luxury' of choosing exactly when you submit.

You are kidding right? If you operate hundreds of campaigns and run a successful business through Adwords, then 4 days is too long since editing, changing, and adding new campaigns is a must to test what works and what doesn't! And if it is taking 4 days to approve these changes, then testing campaigns becomes impossible.

To AdWordsAdvisor:

Thanks for your response particularly about submitting ads mid week. Unfortunately, this is quite hard since I usually make changes regularly to test various campaigns and have quite a large portfolio.

Alex, Sorry about my reply to your question. As may be you noticed I said
"my experience" that is all I can go on.

As evidently you are quite the pro with multi campaigns etc, I am surprised that
you are even seeking advice on the forum.
