What match types are you running?

Get rid of broad match, use phrase or exact - that usually will cut down on impressions.

Check if you have the Content Network activated.

What you have until now doesn't sound that bad.
Anyway, check where are the most of the impressions coming from. It could be that there is an exact match [widget] that is too general and is usually used in other circumstances.
Also, check if you have correctly selected the country and the language.

I suggest you run a search query report. This will show you the keywords that people are using to trigger your ads. While it does not show the actual keyword in your account that got the click, you can see what kind of garbage Google is matching your keywords to.

Take a look at what queries are triggering your ads. You may find that your ads are showing for queries you do NOT want to show for. Add those words as negatives in your adgroups.

I've been doing this, and I'm seeing campaign conversion rates of over 7%......I was at 4%.

Hi,
I have made my campiagn keywords too restrictive by using more exact match keywords so that i can avoid more impressions and unneccessary clicks

I have used search query report before in the past but i didn't find any improvement, hmm.. i will try again
Thanks a lot for your Valuable suggestions
