Hello! Let's assume the following situation: you are an agency (or an individual) managing the accounts of many clients. I assume you are doing this via an MCC. What happens if you have to bid on the same keywords in 2 or more accounts (as their business is somehow similar)? How can you make sure that both ads will be shown?

I believe that both ads will be shown, but that care must be taken to avoid Google deciding that the campaigns are actually the same thing trying to gain multiple entries.
As a personal note, I'm not sure I'd be happy about my advertising agency having other clients bidding on the same keywords; at least not without asking me prior to doing so.

You will be fine as long as you use different, title, ad text, display and destination url for each account or campaign.

Thanks for the answer, vince (x3)and natim. I wasn't sure that this was the situation, I was probably confusing separate accounts with separate campaigns. Yes, the sites are different, and the content is different.

I know about the URL (both display and destination). But is it written anywhere that the text and title must be different? (it is logical to be, but is it a rule?)

I haven't seen it spelled out as a rule, but it might raise a red flag somewhere if you tried it. All ethical considerations (and those would be whoppers) aside, of course.

Thanks for the answers. It was a hypothetical situation, not a real one, but I was wondering what is the experience of those who are confronted with this issue.
