Two important questions

1) Do I get "free" advertising by simply running a campaign if nobody clicks on my ads? Google doesn't charge me but the visitor sees my URL and business name. That has got to be some sort of "branding", right?

2) When you are about to select your daily budget, IT DOES NOT SAY IN WHAT CURRENCY! Can you believe this? It could be SEK (which I picked because it's my native currency) or USD. It should definitely CLEARLY STATE what currency it means.

I doubt you'll get much branding if nobody is clicking your ads for two reasons.

1) Someone scanning the ads will see headlines first, and if yours doesn't grab their attention to keep reading the rest of the ad and then click, they won't notice your display URL.

2) If you're not getting any clicks, your position will drop and your minimum bid price will rise until your ad ceases to run.

Not exactly. You need to pay a nominal Adwords account activation fee... and if your ads are truly so ineffective or irrelevant to clickers - your ads will be disabled by ridiculously high minimum CPCs so fast your head will spin...
