Account size problems

Hello,

All of a sudden, I'm receiving the unmanageable account size message. I've pruned my account down to 17,000 keywords but I still get it. I've got a couple of questions.

First, is this normal? 17,000 isn't a lot of keywords.

Secondly, how are big advertisers managing? I'm guessing if you are a larger advertiser, you get more to play with.

I'm assuming that most folks just open another account when they get to this size, but I'd like to avoid this.

Thanks

If your current spend & usage justifies it, Google can raise your keyword limit considerably. The best way to find out if they will is to ask...

They also take into consideration whether or not they feel you are managing your large account(s) well (i.e. if you seem to have a good handle on it)

Thanks for the help on this one.

Looks like it's been a technical fault and the folks there are working on it for me.

Phew!
