There is also a limit on how large the campaign can be, although I don't know what that limit is. If you go to the tools page and then clicks on campaign optimizer, you will be able to see which campaigns are eligible and which ones are not.
About the only suggestions that it came up with was to use the "WWW." on the display URL. I was just using AaaaaBbbbbCcccc.com because the actual URL was something like track.AaaaaBbbbbCcccc.com
Their minimum bids are driving me nuts though. Setup a new project, and they kept bumping the minimum bids(6+ times in about 10hrs.) until they got too greedy and I stopped. I'm supposed to be making money, not just donating to the big G.
I was also running an ad for AaaaaBbbbbCcccc.com and then they decided that they wanted $30/click for the keyword AaaaaBbbbbCcccc.com
I don't know how I can make it anymore relavant than that. BTW, there was no other ads running for the KWs. I basically ended dropping 90% of the KWs.
If they don't want my money, and let some ad space go unused to waste, then other PPC folks don't mind taking it.

I know exactly what you are feeling. Google is insane with their min bids especially for new projects. Some of my keywords min bids jump from: .15 to .02 to .20 to .10 to .30 to .05 to .50 to .04. It is insane.
I remember the old days when min bids were smooth, you start something min bids 5 cents then they go up or down based on performance. It worked very well for me.
I have another beef about this. When I look at my financial (site) those .10 .20 .30 starting min bids donít bother me at all because I bid up to $4.00, but in another industry when break even point is just .09 cents it is aggravating.
When I let it change the display URL from AaaaBbbbbCcccc.com to www.AaaaBbbbCcccc.com they stoppped showing the ad until it could be rechecked.
Sponsor had a bonus weekend(2x%). Spent a couple of days setting up 100s of KWs, optimizing the site, evaluating Phrase/Exact/Broad matches for the best PPC/ROI only to end up having the ad blocked for the whole weekend.
If you are gonna flag the ad for rechecking on a weekend, please have something working on the weekend. I should send them a bill for $3-4k for wasting my time.
