Can't find a way to start a new campaign?

I haven't used AdWords for like a year now and now I logged in and tried to make a new campaign but despite looking around for 30 minutes I COULD NOT FIND ANYTHING LIKE THAT!

This is seriously freaking me out. What is happening here? I see no link anywhere. I have done it a lot in the past. What did they change? Why? Why would they make it harder for people to start giving away their money to Google?

There's a limit of 25 campaigns per account. Delete one of your existing campaigns and the link to create a new one will reappear.

Rehan: That's the other problem I have with AdWords... despite deleting my campaigns about 100 times by now, THEY NEVER DISAPEAR! They are still in the list, but they are marked as "deleted". I don't get the point of this. Why aren't they properly deleted?

Solution to what? If you want to create a new campaign, you can use the link in my first reply. If you want to forever get rid of a deleted campaign, you can't do that. But you can hide them by viewing "all active" or "all but deleted" campaigns on the Campaign Summary page.

Rehan: Well, that link works, but surely I shouldn't have to ask somebody on the Internet to give me the URL? Why doesn't Google want me to create a campaign? I have deleted all my campaigns ages ago.
