Separate Ad for Search and Content

is it possible to have an ad for each in the same adgroup?

I know it has been possible to have different bids for search and content traffic in the same adgroup for some time now. But is it possible to produce ads in the same adgroup but select what network you want each ad to show up in?

Basically I want to try and flick the switch to enable the content network for a campaign but I'd like the traffic to go to a different destination URL for sales tracking purposes. I don't want to duplicate the whole campaign and set content only either.

nope, not within a single ad group, you'd have to split them out into separate ad groups.

however, you can edit the destination urls to use the ifcontent marker combined with landing page programming to achieve your stated goal.

Yeah I saw that extension but I don't want to mess with my landing page URLs for fear of losing any history.
