Difference in display between top 3 and all others

I notice that the top three ads display in one line, while all the other ads display in 3 lines. This changes how many of my ads read. Where some ads look great with line 2 on top of line 3, that same ad looks like jibberish if read as one continuous sentence. Is there any way to define, on a per ad level (versus per campaign) which ad to use if in top three and which ad to use if in others?

Unfortunately, no. But, I agree with your frustration... ads do appear quite different depending on the location.... although, for those of us with lots of ads, I *shudder* at the idea of creating 2x the versions...

This is an excellent observation, KDiggity.

I think it's a very good idea to be aware of this -- and for those advertisers who think that their ads may end up in top spots, to consider how they will appear there as a single line of text, while also being well formatted for placement on the right.

I know this sounds a little labor-intensive, though I also think it becomes second nature rather quickly.
