Google AdWords

This page contains both secure and non-secure items.

Do you want to display the non-secure items?

Something that has bugged me for ages and I've never mentioned anything about it. While logged into a Google Account and visiting the various help sections etc., I get hit with the Security Information dialog for each page I visit. It is a bit annoying!

Also, it's Google AdWords and not Google Adwords. It would be nice if someone kept that branding intact. It doesn't look real professional when your own site doesn't get it right. ;)

Agreed, I do find that security message a bore. I really don't understand why the information could not be kept on the secure side.

That seems to be the case across EVERY PRODUCT GOOGLE OFFERS. I don't understand it, but yea, it's annoying as all get out.

Could it be because the non-secure content loads faster?

hehe, that is true. Gmail does the same thing too. Have it on an ecommerce site, and you won't believe how many people it scares away.

It is a very serious issue as it destroys trust in the security of the system.

Another similar issue is that of purchasing a SSL certificate for www.example.com and serving it for example.com as well.

Just visit [google.com...] to get told that the site where you might be providing your social security number and bank details doesn't have a valid certificate.

Also, it's Google AdWords and not Google Adwords

It may be that the documentation was written in English (where you can't mess with capitalisation rules) before the translation into American (where you apparently can).
