Hi all,

I have been reading the current NMA magazine and there is an article about google checkout and it mentions how it can affect your paid listings ranking.

A couple of snippets from the article, Swerling says "It would have an effect to some extent" and "Having a checkout badge doesn't affect your ranking per se, but it could feed into the quality score".

So, are all the Google checkout users getting a slight nudge up with their quality score and those not using it are at a slight disadvantage?

This is news to me, I know the badge looks good in the results, but didn't realise that you could be given a "bonus" for it as well.

What are your thoughts?

Because it draws more eyes to your ads, and hopefully increases your CTR, which impacts your quality score.

it's when he said "Having a checkout badge doesn't affect your ranking per se, but it could feed into the quality score".

feed into the quality score? directly or indirectly as your may get a higher CTR with the logo there, but thats not clear.
