keyword triggering on content network

is it based on a single keyword or more?

I am using the valuetrack tag to track my keyword clicks on the content network, and am wondering am I safe to remove other keywords in that adgroup without affecting the traffic to that keyword? (in an attempt to raise the account level quality score by removing keywords with no clicks on both search & content)

I seem to remember reading somewhere that the content network triggers based on a number/combination of keywords in your adgroup, not just a single one - or is that just adwords speak for saying "We don't provide content network reporting at the keyword level"?

thanks in advance..

i believe all of the keywords in an ad group define a theme that triggers content matching. so yep, changing the keywords will have an affect on your content targeting.

see sections 11 & 15 here:

Yes...in content network, a group of keywords will create a theme for the adgroup and Google will serve your ads based on that theme.

Some times an adgroup having no impressions will start to be served by Google, if we add more related keywords to the existing group.
