Hello there,

It's my first post so thank you for reading and thank you for being patient with me. I'm a veteran in online marketing, but new at a SEM technology start up, and thought to have a quick survey about how people manage their campaigns these days. Of course it relates to our technology, but from what i read in the terms of use, i am not allowed to disclose the product (right?).

for start, i'll try 3 questions, i hope the interest will be good enough to post more later :-)

1. Are you using professional services (agency) to manage your PPC campaigns?
Yes- I use a service
No- I do it all in-house

2. Are you or your service provider use a tool to manage your bids or do you do that yourself?
Yes- I use a tool
No- I do it myself

3. Do you feel that you are bidding the optimal bid for your needs, per keyword/ad group, or do you feel it can be done better if only you had the time, patience and the right excel sheet ready?

Yes- I bid perfectly already
No- I could have done it better if only...

an answer should look something like:

1- no
2- yes
3- no

i hope we'll have enough voters to see if AdWords account managers are the masters of their domain and happy with it, or are they letting others manage their kingdom...

If you got till here, i would really appreciate it if you would vote.

Thanks a lot!

These are not necessarily yes or no questions.

1. Are you using professional services (agency) to manage your PPC campaigns?

No, I AM a professional service for managing other people's PPC campaigns

2. Are you or your service provider use a tool to manage your bids or do you do that yourself?

Yes for Yahoo, No for Google (unless you count AdWords Editor, then Yes for Google too)

3. Do you feel that you are bidding the optimal bid for your needs, per keyword/ad group, or do you feel it can be done better if only you had the time, patience and the right excel sheet ready?

One can always use more time, but my clients are pretty happy.
