Hey all!

I just wanted to know if any of you running Google Adwords noticed significant fluctuations in CPC throughout the week.

For example, we haven't changed any of our bids for the past few months, but from our historical data, it seems that:

1) mondays are consistently always the lowest CPC days (0.49)
2) saturdays are consistently always the highest CPCs days (l.08)

This is what a typical week (for avg CPCs) will look like:

Mon (0.49)
Tues (0.74)
Weds (0.78)
Thurs(0.74)
Fri (0.79)
Sat (1.06)
Sun (0.65)
Mon (0.49)

Notice that on monday, we started off with .49, then during the week, it's around .70, then peaking at 1.06 saturday, then back down to .49 on monday.

Is google up to something? Any thoughts?

I apologize in advance if this topic was brought up before!
Thanks!

Is this on the search network or the content network or both?

If you are participating on the content network, some of those clicks may have been smartpriced.

As far as I can see, through the week the CPC is constant. Only in the weekend and on Modays something is happening. It could be that some advertisers run campaigns only in the weekend - depends what kind of products you are selling.
