How view an Adwords advert in a foreign country?

How to view the results as a person in that country would see them?

I am in the UK and have launched a campaign targeting France only. How can I view the search results in Google as a France-based person would see it?

I tried searching several times at google.fr for France only results, but my advert didn't appear even though according to Adwords it is live.

Thank you very much.

You can view your ads in the following page:

[google.com...]

You can also add the "&gl=fr" to regular google search results in the navigation bar to view your ads in France.
I hope this helps out.

Not true at all...

You have to satisfy two things here:

Location and language setting.

Here are few scenarios:

You may have a campaign that says: France and French for location and language respectively.

You may have the same campaign that says: France and all languages.

You may have the same campaign that says (this one unlikely but it is possible): All countries and French.

The claim above is based on the test we do almost on daily bases across the world.

Your best bet is French IP address and Google.fr. How? Find a proxy server that is located in France.

If you ask us about proxy servers, unfortunately nobody has come up with service that would offer something reliable in countries that have been used extensively through Google AdWords and Yahoo which would mostly be North America, Western Europe and Australia, for now.

This above is great business idea for anyone able to do it. Another idea is to have as many proxy servers to cover each state in US. Some folks would want to see ads in Arizona only, for example.
