I am wondering is anyone else having issues with getting a credit card to process in Google to pay for an adwords account.

We have been using the same cc for years now and I can't get the charge to go through. I have retried it several times now.

I have no problem with the same card in Yahoo with getting charges processed and the card good.

I have contacted Google help viva contact form just wondering if others are having the same issue.

Ok now I am asking for any ideas here. No reply from Google cc still not working I can't get the system to retry the charge, I have added the cc information again nothing.

The admin area in Google is slow as a snail just plain slow and I have sent another email to the google Team. I guess I will just wait till I am contacted by google wanting to know why we quit spending 2k a week with them...

I edited this after I went to my traffic tracker.
Ok I am adding a tidbit here even though it says in my admin area all ads are off till this payment is made my ads are showing in Google so anybody Ideas?

Hi bwnbwn - Contacting AdWords support is the best way to get this resolved, as issues of this nature tend to be very particular to the individuals account, credit card, and etc. Such issues are very difficult to resolve without a look at the particulars, which the support teams can see.

I notice that you mention that you contacted "Google help via contact form". I assume that by this you mean that you contacted AdWords support - but do note that Google support and AdWords support are very different groups. I'm sure you already know this, but wanted to mention it just in case - as I have seen it happen many times in the past.

If you have had any emails from AdWords support on this issue, then the best way to contact support is by responding directly to one of those emails. If, on the other hand, you have not had any such emails, then your best bet is to use the 'Contact Us' link on any page of your AdWords account.

I do wish you a speedy resolution to this issue.

Yes I used the adwords support form both times and have not gotten a reply yet. The part I am most puzzled on is the ads are still active yet I am seeing the box.

"Your ads have stopped running; we could not process your payment.
Update your payment information"

I have updated it. The card is fine. I really don't know what it is AWA.

Still waiting on the team to respond....

Contact your bank. They may well be blocking the transaction.

If I had 1 penny for every time I've seen that happen...

Thanks I thought about that but Yahoo or MSN charges wouldn't go through. It was on Googles end as AWA had the team within 30 minutes of his post email me a response and this AM it is fine.

I can take no credit for that at all, as I took no steps of any kind on this end. ;)

This may be a good time to say that I actually make a point of not knowing who WebmasterWorld members are, and neither have nor want a way to associate a particular WebmasterWorld member with a particular AdWords account.

So AdWords support will have contacted you on their own, with no nudge of any sort from me. ;)

I'm very glad things have been resolved for you, bwnbwn.
