I have campaigns set up for both keyword buys and content bids together. Is there someway to track sales using a unique referring url?

Oh - and I basically do not wish to use the google conversion tracking code

Well, you'll need to track sales on your own, but here's how you can distinguish between search/content & the website driving the content:

1. Distribution: To see whether a click resulted from an ad on the content network or an ad on the search network, add '&type={ifsearch:search}{ifcontent:content}.' For each additional variable you would like to track, add a '&' instead of a '?'.

2. Site: If an ad is played on a content network, you can see the website that the ad was displayed on by adding '&site={placement}'

An example of a full URL that you would generate to pass this information through to your logs is listed below: www.widget.com/home?type={ifsearch:search}{ifcontent:content}&site={placement}

poster_boy,
thanks for this very useful info.
One question remains to me: are these parameters visible in your logfiles or are they parameters for google analytics?
If this info is transfered to the logfiles, how is it displayed there?
