my highest performing keyword is at risk and I dont know why, it is at .9% which is higher than the required .5% to remain active, why is it getting put at risk? I mean, its pretty much the only keyword that is working for me yet everything else is moderate with smaller ctrs

ok, I kinda understand it now, but now I have keywords at risk that have yet to get any impressions, how is that possible?

The first thing that come to mind, ucdawg12, is that you may be looking at a very short date range. Try setting your date range to 'all time', and see if that makes a difference.

Adwords actually has memory. What I have done in the past is pulled words out of an adgroup that were getting disabled and put them in a group by themselves. Intially set the price high and you might have to lose a little money and get the CTR up. Then you can back it off. This has worked for me on words that get a lot of impressions.

Also, try adding some negatives. Even if the CTR is high it might not be high enough for that keyword.

all time, my two keywords that are now disabled were 1% and .7%

Right, but see the above link as to an explanation of why that .7 or 1% may not have been enough.

yes, I kind of understand that now, so I tried to create a new ad group like the poster above said he did, but today its like it wasnt even active, 0 impressions for both keywords and they are now both at risk again, in the different ad group. How can I get these working again because it seems like google just wont let it happen no matter how I try to fix it

ugh this is stupid, I edited my keywords and added a few new ones last night, this morning 0 impressions on what google estimated to be high traffic words, and again 2 are at risk. why even bother going through the phases like that if you're going to disable them right off the bat? its a waste of time thinking that my ad might actually be getting out when its moderate when in fact its disguised as disabled.

ok, I just added a new keyword today, and it was doing great, 1.6%, despite low impressions, 450. Now all the sudden its at risk, with only 450 impressions. How is that possible? This group shouldnt be doing the content ads, only the ads from the google searches, yet its at risk with a 1.6% CTR? And its at risk with such few impressions(only 450 not even 1000 yet)? Why does Google feel the need to send all my good keywords to "at risk" for no reason? #*$! is going on?
