Main worry is its my money! The main advice ive been given is that:
Content ad's if your using them pay only 30% of the serps listing due to poor conversation rates.
Key word red widget should take you to the red widget page.
Best place for conversions is position three.
Thats about it im afraid.
So any other tips?
So if you have 5,000 keyword phrases...you have 5,000 adgroups..
YES...takes time to build this out but gives you the best CTR/ROI as you have exact control over each keyword phrase..
AND...tends to return a strong QS
I rarely run content ads...I want more control over when and where ads run...
Be afraid be very, very afraid!
Just joking, come on in the water is fine.
Just take your time and feel your way.
Adwords and affiliates sales has been the best plan for me.
You are a veteran and shouldn't have any problem.
Just follow all the good advice you have read and posted to on this forum. Make sure your product has a solid market and go for it. Good luck! King Fisher

Think target: it's better to do lots of ads targeted for very few keywords than catch many keywords in one ad. Also be careful your keywords/ads don't compete against each other, you can experiment with different ads for those keywords to see which ad performs better, but eliminate the poor performing ones as soon as possible.
or soon to be bankrupt
I don't think so. I failed at adwords a long time ago. A few times actually. It was when I had the larger budget and balls to test new things that I made it work.
My biggest piece of advice: Use your head, if something is not working, DROP IT. MOVE ON.
Even if you spend 10000 in your first month and make back 12000, that's a good start. Tweak and learn and diversify.
Good luck!
