New AdWords Editor Release Troubles

Accounts don't download

Today I got back into the office and was prompted to download the newest version of AdWords Editor, so I did. Now I cannot download one of my AdWords accounts. I was able to download one client's account but another larger account seems to time out around 97% downloaded. I get the following error "Network Error. Unable to establish a connection to AdWords. blah blah blah."

It's worthwhile logging into the account directly and see if there's a TOS or other update that must be accepted. That's often one issue with accounts not downloading directly.

I've see the editor timeout on larger accounts every once in a while. You may need to try a few times to download the account.

Yep - I have very large account - and it time outs frequently. I'm finding it not so useful to use adwords editor unless I am carrying out a massive number of changes all at once.

Well, for me on the Mac it seems stuck at version 3.0.0, and will not let me log in at all!

I was able to remove the accounts, and re add them then things worked. I love to use Editor for just about all AdWords changes.

I stopped using it when I had some serious synchronization problems. Maybe they're fixed with this new version, I haven't checked. But my confidence in it has been severely shaken.
