Dynamically putting keyword in title?

I was wondering if Google allows you to dynamically
put the keyword in title and/or description. I know that
other sites allow this kind of thing and was hoping to
do the same on Google.

Sorry for not searching the existing posts, but the
search seems to not be responding for me...

thanks
Shawn

Welcome to Webmaster World, Shawn. If you use one variable, you are okay(ie. yoursite.com?id=234)

Sorry, I may not have explained my question properly... When adding a new ad You would type in:
title: Buy Widget Here
Line1: Super cool low price on
Line2: all your Widget Needs
keyword: widget

I would like to do something like this instead:
title: Buy ##keyword## Here
Line1: Super cool low price
Line2: all your ##keyword## Needs
keyword: widget

Both listings would look the exact same. Findwhat
and 7Search offer this kind of thing and Im sure
Google does too, I just dont know the syntax.

thanks
Shawn

No, I must be in a daze. Do you mean you want to insert different words from a database or text file?

<added>If you are talking about the search engine result descriptions, you cannot control them, except the title</added>

Google grabs snippits from your page that contain the searched word.

Kinda... I have a group of keywords that are similar and I would like them all tied to the same google ad. But I would like the matching keyword to be included in the displayed title. By the way, I am talking about Google Adword Ads. I think I am in the right forum...

Here is a list of keywords:
swim suits
swim fins
hair cap
goggles

And I want to make a single google Ad:
Title: ##Keyword## On Sale Now
Line1: Buy all your ##Keyword## here
line2: Swim more, feel good, etc, etc, etc,

That way when someone searches for "swim suit" the
following will be displayed:
Title: swim suits On Sale Now
Line1: Buy all your swim suits here
line2: Swim more, feel good, etc, etc, etc,

But, if they search for "goggles" this will come up:
Title: goggles On Sale Now
Line1: Buy all your goggles here
line2: Swim more, feel good, etc, etc, etc,

Thanks
Shawn

farside847,

I don't think you can do that with AdWords, you'll have to create different ad groups for each keyword.

I also do not believe this is possible with AdWords. They have very tight space constraints and need to know what the text is beforehand. In addition, if it did work it would have to be limited to only exact matches (i.e. with the brackets) otherwise the queries get way too long.

I would like this feature, though, to be able to append the query to my target URL string, so I can beeter track which keywords are successful.

BTW, I usually refer to this feature as "terming" which is FindWhat's lingo.

figment88: You can track which keywords are successful by setting a cookie containing the referer, as soon as the customer arrives at your site. Then when they purchase, check the cookie and you know exactly which searches lead to purchases. Works for me.

Obviously you'd want to combine this with logfile analysis for maximum usefulness.

andye, I do that. However, the referer only carries the keyowrds about 70-80% of the time. Even then I'm always dubious about using something for a purpose completely different than it was designed.
