I know there has a been a lot of discussion on the various match items, but has anyone else noticed a similar widening of broad match and a negative effect on campaigns?

Yeah, I've noticed this happening a lot. Some really ridiculous broad matching taking place with completely irrelevant keywords. Have had to stay on top of it and add negative keywords regularly to the campaign. I guess it's not surprising why profits are up.
