Stats of my Google Adwords Site Targeting Camp.so far: 1,812 but NO clicks.

Is it too soon, or should I immediately stop targeting specific dating sites on which to run my ad and just concentrate on my Keywords campaign?

That's barely a significant sample, and how much coverage did you get by hour of day and/or day of week? If all those impressions were between 10am and 11am on a Tuesday in the timezone of most of your visitors, they may not have been in the best mood for some romance...

Site targetting does not work for all kind of campaigns. It does not work for me. It would be interesting if someone with successful site targetted campaings could start a post on what makes it a success or a failure.

Desperate users fleeing from crap sites (well as long as the traffic is also cheap, but it often will be if the targeted site is crap).

Interesting.. So we site target Cr*p sites for click thrus. But does a cr*p site have enough traffic to go around.

I have in the past targetted online news papers and specialized niche magazines..but they donot seem to work.

Sometimes I get 10 clicks at avg. CPC of say USD .001 but then sometimes I get nothing for days on end. On the whole it turns out more expensive than simple PPC.
