[blue-widget] not equivalent to [blue widget]?

From Google, it says keywords with or without the hyphen is just the same, but actually they aren't!

Originally I have a major converting keyword [blue widget], but the CPC soaring high, I tried adding [blue-widget], [BLUE WIDEGET} & [BLUE-WIDGET], they are shown with a much much lower CPC, and make more conversions than the old one.

Anyone can explain that?

Nope - but I also notice the same anomalies. They once catagorically told me that using capitalised letters made no difference - but I agree, they do. Shhhhhhh - else we'll lose them!

Agreed on hyphenated keywords. Funny, as Google explicitly say don't waste your time with hyphenations and plurals in some of their help docs, too...

Yep - plurals is really interesting - and they expressly say not to bother. Mmmmm. Food for thought.
