I need some help with this whole Google Maps stuff. Im showing up under the sponsored link but not under the results. Is that based also on price and ad ranking? Because the company is in the top 10 on the text search. Can anyone help?

I've noticed that the maps entrys are usually listed in order as the distance away from the actual geographical center of your query..

if for example you search "widgets in 99999" you'll see the listings are farther up the list the closer to "ground zero" for the query...

I happen to live a couple blocks from the center of town and enjoy the top listing for that area...

however the listings do go on...(More local business results ») have you searched the complete list to ensure you're not showing "somewhere"? It may just be a case of "you're farther from ground zero than they are"

Im searching in the city where my company is at and its still not showing up. Theres only like 10 companies in that city alone.

Are you a business? Did you submit yourself to Google Local Business Center?
