We've been finding the majority of our keywords uploaded via the API are being given poor quality scores and very high min. bids
However, the kws are all very relevant to the page content.

But, if we open a web browser, login to AdWords, delete the kws with poor QS, change the match type, save, and then change the match type back again to its original form as uploaded via the API... the QS is OK or Great.

Anyone else experienced this?

We're assuming this is a bug related to the API and the relatively new QS column in AdWords but haven't seen any other posts reporting a similar issue.

As I say, if we add the same kws and their match types via a web browser in AdWords... no such QS problems.

Puzzled.

It certainly sounds like a bug. Why do you have to change the match type twice? Do the QS errors (as you see them) remain?

We have seen the exact same issue... if its manually done QS is great, if its uploaded via API QS is poor.
