I heard a rumor that Google recently started accepting AdWords ads for adult terms. A few questions that hopefully someone more in the 'adult' know than I can answer:
1)Was Google previously not showing ads on adult terms? If so when did this happen?
2)Does someone who is more familiar with that adspace than I #:^) notice any changes in terms of them taking ads?
Thanks, Shorebreak

I just tried all seven of the famous banned words and all seven had AdWords. Feeling lucky, I tried about a dozen other kw relatives and all seven had adwords. I don't think they ever left Shorebreak.
Yep, the pressure is on to meet those stockholder expectations. I suspect pharma ads and other "do no evil" keywords will be allowed back in the next few months. That coupled with the quality gouge algorithm should fool some of those analysts that growth continues while the reality is, the number of adwords signups has slowed dramatically in the last 6 months as everyone and their uncle is the game. The only way to show growth is expanding the keyword base and maximizing income from it. They will push until they see people start leaving and then pull back as they will have reached the gouge limit on an advertiser's ROI. I wouldn't want to be a mid level executive or stockholder when that will happen. That stock is going to tank from over valued to normal stock and someone is going to take the fall.
