I spoke with a google representative late today after seeing some of my best performing words move from .10 to $10. I gave them a specific example. They told me that they were hearing the same thing from many different advertisers and that this issue is a glitch and unrelated to the quality score changes. They told me that their technical team has put this on high priority and that these things in my account should be put back to normal.

I only hope that this person is right and its not another quality fiasco that has given much misery to advertisers.

Has anyone spoken to google late today and heard the same thing? If not, I would appreciate someone who got hit by this to call google and confirm what I heard and maybe add to the discussion and information about this problem and its reversal.

Its soooooo frustrating advertising on google.

there is an entire thread with over 100 messages about this issue. Adwords Advisor has posted confirming that there is a technical glitch, and that it is in the process of being resolved.
