Brand Keyword CPCs on Content

Does anyone have thoughts on whether or not a company's brand/trademark keywords cost more or less on Google's content network than on search?

My results are skewed based on the fact that I bid a very high amount on Brand terms as a defensive measure. This high Max Bid hasn't had a negative impact on my Avg CPC on Search due to an expectedly astronomical Search CTR, but this CTR benefit doesn't seem to have carried over to Content.

During the period when I did not bid a separate, lower amount for Content, the latter CPC was indeed dramatically higher. Likely due to my high Max Bid combined with a lack of a substantial CTR-associated discount.
