if I mouseover the magnifying glass next to my keyword it shows the search domain as google.co.il --- how can I change this to google.com?

To which country your campaign is targeted? Google will show the domain name in the "Ad Testing" tool based on campaign settings.

Also, you can't show your ads on google.com if you are advertising outside US. The ads will be only shown in your target country, for example, if your target your keywords/campaign to UK, the ads will be shown in google.co.uk and not in google.com.
Google.com is primary for US market.

Actually, for the little ad testing tool they show the country you are living in as your default. Example: I live in Canada but I advertise to the US AND Canada. I would like the ad testing tool to show the US (google.com) as my default for the quick ad test, but it shows google.ca.

I contacted google about this and there is no way to choose which country or which google site (ie. google.ca, google.com, or google.co.uk, etc.) your quick ad test will show. Alas, you must use the more advanced tools for this.

Now, time to go add this to the "google features I'd like to see" thread!
