Could anyone tell me does these dynamic titles still work?

Yes, they still work - but Google, at will, maintains the right to use the default copy instead of the dynamically inserted keyword - even if the keyword will fit.

So in result the title is rather static than dynamic? The same word will be apperaing in the title?

No. Most times, the keyword searched on will appear in the title.
