Poor performing keywords

Do they affect other keywords

If you have a poor performing keyword does it have any affect on any of the other keywords in the campaign? The keyword in question still gets clicks which may produce sales so happy to keep it there but the CTR for that keyword is very low in comparison to the other keywords. My own concern is that it brings down the overall CTR for that AD group - does it matter?

If I was you I'd create a new adgroup for this particular keyword.

so does it have any impact for sure?

if i put into another adgroup does then it affect other adgroups in the campaign?

Dunno, but it seems logical that G would charge more for accounts that have tons of very low performing KWs in addition to a relative few normal-performing KWs. All those low-producing KWs require G's resources to support them but generate little CPC revenue for G.
