Is there's something called as PPL?

Hi,

I just need certain clarification on the working of PPC campaigns.

was just discussing the same with my team here regarding the Pay Per Lead(PPL).. Ok, lets say, if there's a finance site which has a form on its homepage.. this clearly shows he's(site owner) more interested in getting leads for his business.

To attract more traffic he wud surely start with a PPC campaign.. now, i was just wondering, why wud he(site owner) ever opt for PPC.
IMO, he should pay Google on every lead he's got.. otherwise, dont u think he's risking his money.

Please advice,
-Is there's something called as Pay Per Lead in Google, If it does, how does it work?
-Will Google ever charge for leads that gets generated from their sponsored links or its always chargable in accordance to clicks?

Thanks and Regards
D

Google normally is PPC based , but since you are more interested in PPL use their new system Pay Per Call campaigns, in which you pay only when you get call from your customer , you have give you phone number to Google

just read more about it on google Adwords

what if his/her site is CRAP and couldn't convert an Eskimo looking for a hot drink, comprende

PPL is a good model, however it's all about conversions ...

a similar visitor on 2 different sites could convert at very different %

hope that helps

forget the traffic but work on your conversion rate instead.

You can use Google Adwords PPC to get traffic to your site for any purpose you like....Lots of affiliates use PPC to drive traffic to lead forms that they receive a flat lead-fee for...is this what you're asking?

If it is, it can be very profitable, but it would take a unique approach due to the huge cost of clicks in the finance industry.
