Something Funny at Adwords?

What has happened?

Anyone know if something strange is happening on AdWords today? My traffic has fallen sharply today. After looking into it, I find that my Ad spend is about 10% today of what it was yesterday. I haven't changed anything on this account in over a month.

Is this a bigger picture issue or just my account?

Thanks

FYI - I just recieved this response from Google:

"Thank you for your email regarding the sharp decrease in your traffic on the Content Network. I apologize for any frustration this situation may be causing you. Our engineers are aware of this problem affecting the content performance of a small number of advertisers. We are working to resolve this issue as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience."

Just to confirm what cabbagehead stated in his reply, there was an issue with ads not being served in some instances on the content network. I don't have the exact details of the issue, but the engineers are on it and expect to have it fixed soon.

At the same time non-serving issue happened (which affected one of my accounts), there's also an issue where i have a completely PAUSED campaign that got tons of imps and clicks on the content network.

I had paused the campaign several days earlier because the site hosting had an issue. That issue was fixed on my site, but I was out of office and had not yet unpaused the adwords campaign. But I got imps and clicks for part of the day on the 10th.

My unexpected adwords ppc content traffic generated some sales (good thing my site was fixed), but it's disconcerting to see paused campaigns coming to life on their own.

PS - i checked my campaigns history for changes to be absolutely sure someone (I'm the only person with access!) didn't unpause my campaign.
