Can anyone tell me if the google spybot is able to scan and recognize javascript?

Well Google has long been able to grab visible links within javascript. More recently, they've gotten a bit better at detecting javascript based redirects, but I still don't believe they actually execute javascript.

I've run a few tests using javascript based encryption and I haven't seen any evidence they actually do run the javascript.

Of course, these tests have all been in the organic side and the Adwords bot may well be different.

Exactly what is it you are wanting to do with the javascript that concerns you?
