Missing Content Impressions

Is this due to paused Ads or Site "outage"?

Yesterday I noticed that my site wasn't showing and I could not access my Host's control panel. A support query confirmed that they had a "serious outage".

I paused all my Ad Campaigns as soon as I noticed nothing was showing, and resumed them only once I could see the site was back up.

Looking at my data, I believe I had Ads showing for about 4 hours while my site was down, and a further 2 hours with my Ads on Pause.

Today I notice that I am barely receiving any Content impressions or Clicks (Search impressions and clicks appear OK but a few keywords have become inactive << 1%).

1) Is this due to the Site Outage or the period with all the campaigns paused?
2) Will it recover? and if so, how quickly?
3) Are there any alternative means of pausing Ad Campaigns that do not have this after effect?

Well the content impressions started up again about 24 hours after I paused the Ad Campaigns.

I'm guessing that the Pause, once it becomes effective for Content, applies for a minimum of 24 hours.

Still, everything seems to be back up and running now, and traffic is the highest I've seen for weeks.
