Anyone doing Google Video Ads and actually have them show up? Also about the CPM is that for people who view the static image or actually view the ad itself?

Gomvents,

The CPM for video ads is based on how many times it appears on the network, not how many times it is actually played. Video ads are definitely live, so you may just need to adjust your CPM to be closer to what you'd expect to pay for an image ad on the same content sites.

I have it at $50 CPM... my image ads are displaying just fine, but not my video ads. Furthermore I checked using the google tool and it showed these site do support the video format. Any tips to encourage play?

So if your a publisher, you get paid by impression and also by click? Not anything extra if they play it?

AdWordsAdvisor2, the site we're looking to advertise sells bath and body products, similar to a bath and body works but also sells gift baskets, is a little more high end. Have any target sites in mind to advertise on?

We are doing USA, Canada, UK, and Australia geotargeting and $50 CPM with $50 a day budget.

Our ad should be showing but it's not...

any tips?

If the ad being displayed is a CPM ad, then the publisher gets paid based on the CPM the advertiser is paying. The publisher won't get any additional revenue if the ad is clicked on as we don't charge the advertiser anything for those clicks.

AdWordsAdvisor2, it's been a couple weeks since i uploaded those 2 video ads and they show as "active".

Can you please check with someone to see when they should be actually running live?

Ok, they've been playing with almost no plays or clicks so I just changed the opening images and cut out some higher traffic less targeted sites. After a week of running this we'll have to go in and see how we can improve things, thanks!

I think you have to up your budget. try it for a few hours and see if that helps at all.

No, it has nothing to do with that... I'm not new to AdWords... our ad simply was not reviewed before, AWA took care of it and no more problem... now all I just need to do is figure out with the CTR is so low.
