Conversion tracking

Do bids go up for well converting campaigns?

As AdSense publishers we get smart priced if conversions for the merchants are low, as far as I understand. Does this mean if we set up conversion tracking with Google AdWords as merchants and the campaigns convert well, the minimum bids could go up? Is there any evidence you've seen to support this? Is there any reason not to opt for conversion tracking within Google AdWords?

There is no 'real' evidence as only Google would be able to say.

Depends on whether you trust your supplier to know your margins. I don't but that's just me :-)
