I got a notice of one of my campaigns having a destination URL not working. I checked and everything is ok. All info is entered correctly and I can access my website through search engine results etc. I see no problems and wrote Google.

Has anyone come across this same problem?
I want my ad to show :-(

Writing to the support folks is the best way to get an answer specific to your account, Porkchop. (With a general aside that it's important to provide specific details regarding the campaign and Ad Groups(s) in question when writing.)

Here is some general information on the topic, which may or may not answer in the present case:

The most common reason by far for a disapproved Destination URL is a simple typo. All it takes to create a broken URL is one tiny typo, a space, an odd character, etc. It's hard to spot these things when an advertiser knows your URL so well that they don't actually see it any more. IMO, it's always best to copy/past the entire Destination URL direct from the desired page.

Over the last four years, I've seen literally hundreds of emails from advertisers who have "proven" that their Destination URL is not broken by typing it into their browser, and being taken right to the appropriate page. This sort of test will not catch a typo in the Destination URL, however.

For this reason, I think it's best to test your disapproved Destination URL by searching on one of your keywords in the appropriate Ad Group, and clicking on the ad itself. In your post you mention "... I can access my website through search engine results etc.", so you may very have done that already, Porkchop.

The second most common reason for a disapproved Destination URL? IMO, it would be downtime on the linked-to site when the ad was reviewed.

In any case, AdWords support should be able to supply you with an answer that is particular to your case.

I've had a couple of instances where the destination URL was fine and repeated re-entry of the ad in question still had it kicked back to me with an incorrect destination url notice. Eventually I brought this to google support's attention and they admitted their error. I wonder why they didn't just doublecheck when I re-entered the ad repeatedly...
