Is Google down?

Google.com 404ing; can't access Adwords

Is Google down? I’m in Europe and can’t access anything on the google.com domain. Not the search engine, not the directory, not Adsense, not Adwords. I get either 404 errors or MSN Search telling me, “We can’t find google.com.” My housemate says it's been down all day (4 pm here). We've tried on two different computers. Is it down where you are?

I'm worried because I started a new Adwords campaign about 8 hours ago, not exactly sure how much the keywords are going to cost, and frankly my daily limit is set a little higher than I actually want to spend.

As I see it, I have three options:

1) Call and ask them to pause my campaign, which they may refuse to do.

2) If Google is up in the US, call a friend their and ask them to pause the campaign.

3) Hire a VA to go in and pause it. Any virtual assistants here?

Sorry, I meant to say "call a friend there," not "their." I just a little stressed right now.

No problem reaching Google search or Adwords from here in Texas.

Try pinging google.com, and if there's a problem, use tracert to see where the trouble is. (Both commands are available on both Windows- and *nix-based systems.)

Having trouble here as well (Maine, USA)

Got a "not found" error a couple hours ago, tried a few minutes later and it worked. Now getting the following error message:

AdWords Advertising Program
Thank you for your interest in advertising with Google. We apologize for any inconvenience, but the AdWords system is temporarily down for maintenance.
Please try again in a few minutes.

P.S. Other Google sites are working fine for me, my problem is limited to just Adwords

It's Dec 3 12:07 Am - here in California. Goggle AdWords has been behaving strange all day (Dec 2). Not a single impression - usually get 12,000 a day! Anyone else notice this?

my campaign shows zero impressions today as well. has been that way since early this AM. Having log in issues too.

Well, I'm an Adsense publisher, and while my ad impressions have been rising all day, actual clicks have barely budged since 9:00 this morning. Very unusual. I thought I'd stop by this board to see if anything strange was going on. Apparently so.
