I have product that I've sold for over three years on Adwords. Site has a high PR ranking and follows the site quality guidlines as far as I can tell.

However this Content network quality bot has just killed me.

A year ago we put an adsenses block on the right side bar of the page. It didn't change our sales much and the adsense income was worth keeping on the page. We were still getting decent sales and some suplimental income from Adsense.

So I've noticed that when I take the adsense code off our adwords impressions go up.

So here is the question:

If I modify my code on my page to detect when the adwords quality bot visits the site.....and when it does I have my page change so it doesn't disply Adsesne....... is this breaking any TOS with Adwords or Adsense?

I'm not looking for opinions here if you think this method is right or wrong. I'm more interested in if it is breaking the TOS and if so show me where. I've scoured them many many times and I know of lot of it is still unclear on certain issues.

There is only one place you will get a definitive answer- directly from Google. Any time you have to ask if doing something is against the ToS, then you should ask Google directly.

I tried it for two months and seemed to have no affect.

I suspect they may tie adwords and adsense accounts together sometimes to figure who is doing what.
