that the better your Ad does, the lower your CPC is supposed to be?
all i did was raise my max CPC .50 cents....

I don't believe CPC and Ad performance are related except that the higher you bid (for a given site quality) the higher up your ad will show. Higher ads may be expected to perform better than lower adds.

So: Bid more & expect to receive more clicks.

Remember it is a competitive environment out there - what your competing bidders are bidding may affect what you are actually charged for your bid.
