Is there any easy way to download the contents of my Adwords account (all ads, and all keywords) into an excel spreadsheet?

In the main page there is a link "Download bulk sheet (.csv)"

It should be above the list of campaigns

Yep, that works. Adwords Editor, which allows exporting into a CSV file (either a single campaign or an entire account), is another option.

Thanks for the replies. I can see where to do this in Editor now, but I don't seem to see the other bulk sheets option - where is it exactly?

A link titled "Download bulk sheet (.csv)" right under the campaign name on the Campaign Summary screen.

Strange, though... I only see it within some Campaigns, not all...

I don't see it at all, anywhere.

Hi La_Valette,

You can get what you want from the Report section by selecting all the campaigns manually and the required details. The same can be saved in .csv format.

Indeed, this seems to work well. Thanks!

Just FYI - this feature is only available to some advertisers - not all. Therefore, if you don't see it - you'll have to run the reports to get the info.

clearly I'm not one of these advertisers - how do I join the club?

Oops, sorry for getting your hopes up, La_Valette!

eWhisper, any idea why only some of my campaigns (within the same account) are in the "club"? Is it tied to campaign size, perhaps?

I never noticed that it was sporadic until looking a bit more closely...

I've also noticed the sporadic nature of this feature.

It seems some accounts have it everywhere; and others it appears on some campaigns and not on others.

I'm speculating that this is due to it being part of the bulk upload system going away and more reliance on the AdWords editor - hence new campaigns might not have it if they were created past a certain date. However - I don't have a clear answer on why it appears and why it doesn't.

just to be clear, I don't see it on ANY of my campaigns...

You should ask your rep as far as I know... It is also not possible for campaigns which are too large (I reckon over 65,000 lines)... For those campaigns I ask my rep for a bulksheet (and open it in excel 2007)

The bulksheet download feature needs to be switched on by Google. Your rep should be able to do this for you, though I understand sometime next year Google are going to abandon bulksheets altogether and get people to use the API or AdWords Editor.

AWA, if you're reading, it would be good to import CSVs into Editor as well as export. For some campaign edits, only Excel will do.

I agree... Import csv would be ideal!

FYI - The aforementioned feature in this thread is being removed.

Your 'Download bulk sheet' link will be disabled soon. Use AdWords Editor instead! The Download bulk sheet (.csv) feature will be removed from all AdWords accounts on January 23, 2007. If you haven't already done so, download AdWords Editor to continue making large-scale changes to your campaigns.
